I feel like this image needs a mirror. Have the image flipped and have Spike in the same position but with tears in his eyes holding nothing while looking through a mirror at the other Spike who managed to either keep his Rarity or save her. Or just a mirrored image where Spike is holding a unicorn’s skeleton with the same smile as the original.

I don’t know why but this artwork always makes me think it is in some false universe or something. Maybe its the serious faces they always seem to have. I don’t know.
