I imagine because, atleast from what I remember, alot of those projects were quite ambitious. They probably would have taken time that most of these people didn’t have. Hence, not getting finished.

Yes you do have a point there completely. However, my point simply is that since making an animation no longer guarantees a mass influx to of subscribers to peoples accounts nobodies bothering to follow through on alot of these projects that got announced forever ago.

To be fair, animation takes a long time. Basically hours for seconds of animation. And that’s not getting into whether its complex movements or not.
Pretty easy for life to get in the way of something like that.
Anybody else notice that since the whole “make pony animation - get avalanche of subscribers” era on youtube is more or less over that “real life got in the way” has become the go to saying for all these long term projects that missed the craze?
