I had 2 Colecovisions I picked up in flea markets for $1 and $3, respectively, from 04-07 (and I probably should have kept one of them.) The power brick must have weighed 4 pounds or so, I might exaggerate but it weighed more than a NES or Genesis adapter.

No prob. It’s interesting to look at fellow gamers’ impressions.
My Seagate Expansion Drive has an AC adapter, and cannot work on my gaming pc without it, even when it’s connected to my computer via USB. Every time I plug my PS2, Wii, and a gaming console that I want to get in the future (either PS4 or Wii U), I have to disconnect the damn thing.
Sorry if I’m rambling.
They’ve always have been, indeed. The first I had to suffer was my Mega Drive/Genny.
