Dude, it’s better than having humans with giant honkin’ horns in the middle of their foreheads. (seriously, why in the hell??) Jon does his thing, and it works more often than not. This has been argued to death for years. If you don’t like it, just leave.
Incidentally, Jon happens to have made one of the loveliest humanized Octavias around. His colouring has gotten a lot better.
Considering this was supposed to be a post for Ask-Human-Octavia, of course there’s gonna be elf ears.
Well I don’t think there’s magic in Starswirl Academy, so that works.
Personally, I like there being some distinction between the different kind of ponies when humanized. Well, so long as there’s magic in the setting, and thus a reason to distinguish them from one another. Elf ears work better than keratinous stalagmites jutting out of people foreheads.
