Ah yes, the goodbye scene. Where nobody hugged Spike goodbye for some reason.

Yep. AJ asks if they can join Twilight in Humanland and Twilight says it would just cause a ruckus with two versions of the other Mane 6 ponies running around. Spike gets to come because his counterpart wasn’t in the first movie.  
They all nod in agreement, then hug and wish her luck. Pinkie Pie’s hug lasts a little longer than the rest. >implied shipping

She said as the post-credits scene implies things are going to get confusing with the other version of Twilight Sparkle investigating Canterlot High.
