I’ve read plenty of good m/m shipfics, so I’m fine. I just wish there was less hypocritical homphobia in this fandom. Either hate both or respect both, don’t be choosy.

Indeed it is depressing to feel helpless like that. And if you’re interested I do know of one fanfic which isn’t two stallions but it’s male x male.
 
I don’t know if we would agree on most anything but, if you need someone to talk to, I’m on fimfiction and skype.

It’s just depressing when EQG reports on the possibility of MLP being in the toy museum or whatever, and some of the first comments I see on the article are like “Better be G4 only as G1-G3 don’t deserve anything.” “Oh I hope they mention the tv show to give it more publicity!” “All I care about is the show, so I hope this doesn’t win.” And something about ‘us male’ fans.  
And I can’t even recall the last time there was a fanfic featured with a romance of two stallions! Back in the day, those posts were full of complaints from so many ends, it was just depressing how many comments were like “I’m not gay…so this doesn’t appeal to me.”  
Well I’m not a lesbian, but I have to be subjected to seeing that all the time, and any complaint I make is just shat upon.
 
tl;dr  
People suck.
 
You are forgiven, I understand what it’s like to hate something and always being forced to see it and being able to do nothing about it.

I have brushable pony toys, I have two pink talking Celestias, I don’t complain about the toys I buy them if they’re of characters I like, I like the plushies both official and fan made, and I did like the first EQG Movie.
 
I do like some ships but I don’t think they should be canon. I only have a few issues I’m vocal about with the show itself which I won’t go into here,
 
I don’t assume that every Brony is a male, and while I never watched any of the previous mlp generations I don’t bash them as “ugly” or “stupid” and I don’t try to insult those who like them. If anything I respect them.
 
And while I do have certain ships I like I try to keep it to myself and don’t want them canon because IMHO it would complicate and ultimately ruin the dynamic of the show. And I appreciate most Brony art for the amount of beauty it portrays characters with, and just how many ways artists can make these creatures look so different yet still like their show animated selves.
 
I’m sorry if I came off as just some complainer but trust me there is a lot of stuff I do like, but I get most vocal when I see something that troubles me, such as a vocal bunch seemingly speaking for what everyone wants to see.
 
So again. I’m sorry.

You know what I don’t want to see? Comments or articles on EQG that DON’T bash on any of the non-molded hair toys, or talk about the EQG dolls as if they were abominations, or rude selfish comments referring to ‘bronies’ as a male audience, or all those documentaries that show the same thing, or EQG’s love of lesbian ships, but complete ignorance and not even posting gay ships, or pretending that any generation before this one is ugly as sin and that anyone who likes them are stupid.  
Also, I’d love to not always see boobs, vags, and lesbian ships/porn shoved in my face here, but I have to deal with it and not complain about it.  
I watch tons on analyzers, and next to none of them talk about shipping other than “well, it exists”.  
But clearly, we should all cater to your dislikes and not anyone else’s.

And what’s more is that she’s so popular solely because she’s a member of the “analysis” community, which is nothing more than bashing things you don’t like and shoving your opinions and ships down the throats of the fandom and demanding over and over again it be canon.
 
And to fans like me, who don’t want to see that stuff? Screw us we don’t matter.

That’s why it’s annoying. And I too will get permabanned for this comment because one of the mods here is a dislestia shipper and they can’t stand someone going against their precious ship.

I mean, I sincerely doubt that any of the main characters are going to get a love interest for the most reason that that would be a big game changer and romances can be…troublesome with some writers.
