It wasn’t album of the year for nothing. Not that there was much competition to begin with.
Random Access Memories really is an incredibly album. It shifts through so many different genres and there’s so much variety in the instrumentation and synth across different tracks that I can safely say that there simply is no other music album like it.

Repetitive music is like wasps in my ears, and they make nothing but repetitive music. I tried to like Interstella 5555 for Leiji Matsumoto’s sake, but after the five hundredth time they said “one more time” I just wanted to burn down France to get rid of them. Not a fan.
