It is, it’s the triplet part that’s my headcanon.
A bit like Candace Flynn and her AA-Cup angst, which I think is the real reason of her obsession with catching her siblings redhanded.
I think Maud being the oldest is actual canon.
I headcanon Maud as the oldest and the other three are triplets.
That’s probably correct. In the Pinkie Pie chapter book, Maud is not referred to by name but is identified as “[Pinkie’s] older sister”, seemingly contrasting her with Pinkie’s other sisters and implying that they are not older than Pinkie.
Really? That’s awesome and scary.
Always been my rule of thumb, which is why there’s a nigh-infinite army of Lyra Heartstrings in my stories.
When in doubt, just blame alternate timelines.
In the Japanese dub of the Cutie Mark Chronicles, Pinkie referred to her sisters (except Maud) as imouto. This means both must be younger than Pinkie.
This is a cute picture, but I’m gonna assume Pinkie is the second oldest.
At the very least “Maud Pie” seemed to indicate that she wasn’t the oldest.
Supposedly Pinkie’s other sisters are showing up at some point in S5, so we may get an answer there.
