You know it’s funny because both Flight to the Finish and For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils which were out around the time this chart was shown are considered amazing episodes by mostly everyone even beating out some of the Season Finales. Then Crusaders of the Lost Mark comes out and there’s really no reason to dislike the kids anymore. This list is pure crap.
 
Oh and Discord getting the most character development isn’t a surprise but Dash’s character development and personality is way too low. She’s a lot more three dimensional than your typical jock. And I’m not just saying that out of bias either. I think she’s become a lot more interesting than she was in the beginning almost to the point of being a rougher Fluttershy.

Except there’s a huge difference between a background character (IE lyra) that doesn’t do anything and isn’t supposed to do anything and the writers/animators know they don’t do anything.
 
… And a character with a speaking role which the writers keep throwing in our faces like he’s supposed to be this ultra important character yet does absolutely nothing of value and yet somehow gains the affection of the main character and makes her all hot and bothered by doing nothing at all except bumping into her.  
Flash is not a background pony. Flash is an officialized gary stu, a character whose only role seems to be to check off a mark on the “big list of high school cliches to fulfill.”
 
Flash Sentry is hated because he’s basically a shittier version of Edward Cullen.
 
Also, getting old? The same could be said of this entire fandom.

Yeah, some are quick to say Pinkie was “flanderized” in S4, just from “Filli Vanilli” alone, (some didn’t like Pinkie’s portrayal in it, especially sense it kinda contradicts how she was usually more considerate, and sensitive to Fluttershy like in “Griffon the Brush-off,” though I assume she just got to carried away, like she sometimes does) but as I said there are quite a few eps in all the Seasons where her “crazyness” varies.
 
In the Season 4 finale, she only had one brief silly/comical moment in it. (Same with some other eps where she doesn’t get much focus. Though, personally that almost feels more “OOC” for her to me, seeing her be so quiet most of the time.)
 
So it really depends on the writer, or episode not on the entire “seasons.”

Yeah, I felt even in earlier episodes Pinkie had moments where she would go overboard with the crazyness. (But I’d overlook it, ‘cause I still found her funny/cute.) Though, there still are some episodes where she’s hardly crazy at all like the Season 4 finale, and surprisingly “Lesson Zero.” Her personality crazyness tends to very from writer-to-writer.

I’ll let you stand by whether or not you liked Pinkie from the start of season 1, but it’s not flanderizing if she’s ‘always acted like that’.

Yes you can hate someone for being themselves, that’s like one if the sanest reasons to hate someone if who they are doesn’t appeal to you.
 
Or if who they are is a worse version of their usual demeanor, which might be the issue people ignore when Pinkie’s more recent tomfoolery is brought up.
 
And I’m not exactly D’s biggest fan at the moment.

That’s like hating Fluttershy for being easily timid or Rainbow Dash for being athletic or Rarity for being an over the top drama queen or Twilight for being a bookworm or Applejack for being a workaholic or Spike for eing a little kid or The CMC for being mischievous or Discord for…wait a minute, who DOESN’T love Discord?
