They can’t ever reveal Ash’s father because whoever it is, he was considered worthy of impregnating her when she was 18, and of her dedicating her first decade of adulthood to raising his offspring. And nobody could possibly believably meet those standards.

They were actually revealed in the second movie, right when the Prof. Oak passed by Ash’s house.
Delia’s first name was revealed in the third movie. Oak’s was on the fourth.

Ooooh, I see… been a dozen years or so since I saw that, so I wouldn’t remember.
Oak’s first name is Samuel, and he was known as Sammy as a younger trainer.
The only thing wrong with copying is if you’re copying a person’s drawing for anatomy or posing reference, and it’s wrong mostly because you won’t know what kind of mistakes you’re unwittingly copying. (better to copy from IRL anatomy)
It got revealed during the second Pokemon movie (the one with Lugia). I think they also revealed Professor Oak’s first name, but it’s not immediately springing to mind.
Besides the pose, she’s wearing her bra and robe in the same way. It’s not a coincidence and it’s not an outright trace, but it’s at best towing the line between referencing and copying.
I don’t know, I wouldn’t call this a trace, it’s more of a copy.
