However much some segments of the Pony community hate G3, even they must admit that Newborn Cuties is the spawn of hell itself. :P
 
(personally, I rather enjoyed the G3 movies. And the Twinkle Wish Adventure. I hate comparisons that try to make out they’re objectively, irredeemably terrible).

Newborn Cuties is still the worst. You cannot say heresy like this just because we don’t talk about Newborn Cuties.

I mean, why don’t they seem to enjoy it? Hasbro makes things like this for you to enjoy, not to pointlessly bash.

As someone else who has seen thousands of movies (besides actually owning something like 2- or 3000), I’ve gotta say I do really enjoy watching Equestria Girls AND I also enjoyed watching the G3 movies (and all the other previous gen MLP works too).
 
Princess Promenade was okay, cute even, but I kinda preferred The Runaway Rainbow for re-introducing magic to Ponyland with the first G3 appearance of the unicorns. Especially playful little Rarity. ^^
 
And the “Worst MLP Ever” award should really go to the Newborn Cuties’ shorts that were made in the late G3 era. Those were…disturbing. xD

Its just a movie about a girl band. What’s all the fuss?

Princess Promenade is actually one of the more well regarded G3 movies actually. It helps that the main character is voiced by Tabitha St. Germain.

Princess Promenade was pretty good. They shoulda put one of the Newborn Cuties pics or something else that’s truly universally reviled, not just something that a few people hate for not being G4.

I don’t believe objective quality exists as far as films go. Whatever is the best to you is your personal best film.

Les quatre cents coups is hailed as one of the all-time great films, and I agree it is a great one, but it left me kinda cold. Conversely, Disney’s animated Robin Hood is a bit of a mess, yet I love watching it. Objective quality doesn’t always bear a one-to-one correlation with the enjoyment one gets from a film.
