No problem. There are some people who take the whole “best pony, worst pony” debate a little too seriously, so I can see how someone might interpret the comment as an actual attack on the character. I just wanted to have a little fun in the comments. Maybe I’ll add a :p or a :) next time to indicate me not being too serious.
Sorry to hear about your bad day. I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Oh, sorry; Poe’s Law strikes again, after a fashion. And I agree that it’s out of character for AJ to be concerned with “best pony” or “worst pony”, especially to the point of threatening violence over it. So, yeah, I apologize for the misunderstanding, compounded by the fact that I’m just not having a good day anyway. :P

In reality, I know a boor is an unrefined person.
But I thought I would use “boar” because the show is always using hoofed animal puns. And boor and boar sound alike.
I thought since AJ works on a farm, the pun would work. But maybe it wasn’t as successful as I thought it would be.

And to straighten things out, I have nothing against AJ as a character. I just feel that these sketches that Andy draws where AJ threatens to beat people up over not declaring her best pony are really out of character (And he has drawn several of them).
I mean, AJ doesn’t act out in senseless violence and is incredibly humble. I severely doubt that she would react in this way.
Now these sketches are drawn to not be taken seriously. So I hope my response to the sketch is not taken too seriously either.

Of course an uneducated, uncharismatic boar like Applejack would have to resort to violence for anyone to ever declare her best pony.
