Perhaps, but that doesn’t make her “perfect,” was all I meant.  
Still, I don’t feel the show is the “Twilight Show” as some fans claim.
 
Surprisingly, somebody told me they were soured with the show, NOT because of how special/privilaged Twi’ is, but he said he felt she hardly did anything this season, (Except in the opener, and the finale.) he feels the opposite of most fans, and that Twilight didn’t get enough screen-time this season.
 
It’s surprising how polarized the opinions of this fanbase are at times.

I don’t think Twilight is “massively perfect” though, they even regarded her faults before. Like when Spike said, (In Equestrian Games) “You’ve never let ponies down like I have.” To which Twilight responds, “Are you kidding? I’ve totally let ponies down before!”

Dude, Hasbro gave Twilight a friggin castle in the middle of Ponyville to remind her how special she is. Discord, Rainbow Dash AND Spike all told Twilight how massively perfect and entitled her life is in S4, and it didn’t sink in at all. Heck, Discord told her TWICE. While I would love a long overdue reversal, Trixie being the perfect life contrast character for Twilight, I’m not going to hold my breath.
 
In other words, I would be massively dissapointed, but I wouldn’t be massively surprised.

Oh yeah I forgot about that cover. That was a while back, way before they did Trixie arcs again.
 
That was a weird cover. Sort of a cautionary tale about how Trixie will just lose it when she see’s alicorn Twilight, try to set Twilight on fire, and Twilight will zap and transform half the town trying to stop her with her lack of magic control?

Okay I’ll admit, I would defitely find that amusing. The idea that Trixie would temporarily snap once she saw Princess Twilight isn’t that farfetched.  
Sounds like a hilarious story concept where they’re both locked in jail for a day for property damage, endangerment and assault. XD

At least Rarity gave Twilight a proper “Doctor Strange” style collar. That look works on her.

That one and this are both just alternate “vanity” covers. Nothing in the actual comics has them together. The closest they’ve been was the Chrysalis arc, and they weren’t even on the same page.

I don’t know whether its orders from up top or DHX’s request, but they seem to be very strict in making sure Princess Twilight and Trixie aren’t in the same shot. Not only has she had two interesting stories with other members of the team recently but not Twilight, they don’t even have her as an alicorn in a hot topic cover.
 
I kind of understand. Its a touchy subject. When you have a likable magic-rival character (to the main character in question) who has a less privileged background then Twilight, the idea of Twilight being an alicorn and a princess even after Trixie’s started on the right path is…problematic. Its never been an issue with her friends because they are not wizards by-trade, even if Rarity is a magic user. Trixie is. Having the two of them in the same shot would cause drama that would not paint Twilight in a good light, just out of life comparison.
 
This is not an anti-Twilicorn message, its simply a fact that Trixie’s life is comparison-kryptonite to Princess Twilight’s privileged life.
 
Either they have a arc planned out for how Trixie will initially deal with Twilight being an Alicorn, or they don’t and want to play safe for a long time.

Well would you look at that, Trixie finally found something she’s better at than Twilight: modeling. Really look at her pose compared to Trixie, those knees and that face xD
 
Also ‘princess twilight’ tag? I don’t really see any wings (probably because of the angle). Is it because of the whole hotel chic line that Rarity designed when Twilight was already an alicorn?
