A little more than that, Elizabeth is Booker’s [the player’s] daughter, that Booker traded away to clear up his debts. Realizing afterwards he made a horrible mistake he tried to get Elizabeth back, but the science “twins” and Comstock were already going through the portal. Elizabeth lost her part of her pinky because she reached back to her father as the portal closed and sliced it off. The science “twins” later realized that Comstock was a nutter and started planning his downfall, using Booker to get Elizabeth away from Comstock. The reason at the beginning of the game Booker is going on about “Give us the girl, we’ll clear the debts” is because that was what he was told when he gave Elizabeth away, and travelling between dimensions without Elizabeth’s power can cause memory errors. Your mind basically edits your memories to make sense of the new dimension.
Elizameth is Comstock’s daughter. Comstock = Booker.
Kinda odd to make that transition over to this comic, but eh… whatevs.
