With Discord, he was a silly villain who had never had friends because he had no interest or need for them (till Fluttershy showed him how nice it is to have friends). With Tirek, he had a friend, actively hates friendship, and betrayed his only friend with no remorse. The only way they could possibly reform Tirek would be to change his personality with magic, and I doubt they will do that.

Season 5 is supposed to start… sometime. This fall most likely. I’m not sure. Equestria Girls 2 is set for theaters September 28, with the DVD set for a month later.

If that happened I would be severely disappointed.
