I think they consider nightmare moon as an evil entity and nightmare Luna is just Luna possessed by said entity.

No clue. I saw it on the previously upvoted colorization (after I had already put all the coloring work into this one), so I added it. I assume it exists primarily to catch people who search weirdly.
