The correct answer is to increase the price. This will lower the demand to a level that you can accomodate with your rate of production.
 
The ponies who value it the most, are the ones who already spend the night in line. This will allow them to not have to worry about the low supply, as many other ponies will not purchase it at the new, and higher price. Since they no longer have to spend all night in a line, they will be content to pay a higher price.

I will present you with three answers.  
Stupid answer: Increase the price.  
Crazy answer: Kill some of your customers and decrease the demand by default.  
Smart answer: I dunno really.
