@Eeveeinheat
Exactly. I don’t actually go around waving flags and firing guns in the air while decked out in stars and stripes, but it’s fun to be a little silly and embrace the stereotypes. People can bitch and moan and be grumpy in the corner.
@Eeveeinheat
I guess I’m just tired of negative controversial unfortunate stereotypes.
I would fave an image with the Alicorn Princesses posing as the Founding Fathers, for example.
Unless they were waving and firing off (semi)automatic weaponry of course.
I do find it kind of funny that apple pie is seen as an American thing despite recipes for them existing in England and other countries as far back as 1381, some 400 years before the US existed.
@Drefsab
I appreciate that you’re not getting hostile about this.
But yes, I’m the opposite of happy to see a gun-lust image as the 4th of July featured image.
The thread full of gun-lust doesn’t help my mood about it either.
@Amethyst_Crystal
In b4 irony of my statement.
I’m still going to stand by the personal opinion that using (semi?)automatic weaponry for any purpose whatsoever is disgusting, while you guys can get excited and giddy about it.
