Yeah, I didn’t really watch much of that either. Plus sense the Metarex were pretty O.P. it was a bit boring they had to run away from them most of the time, rather then fight them.

There needs to be more “bad guys”. Eggman being the bad one in every episode could be a bit boring.

They did show a storyboard with concept art of many different characters, one of which did look like a redesigned Emerl. I hope we see some other game characters in it.
 
I’d love to see Nack/Fang (a bounty hunter bad guy character from “Sonic Triple Trouble,” and the comics) in it. Plus the series could use more “bad guys” then Dr. Eggman. (And whoever that lizard guy from the teaser was.)

We still barely know about the show, and there is a ton of fan art of it, ask me tumblr pages, other character in “Sonic Boom” style.
 
I will never understand a Sonic Fan. Sometimes, I think that they are lying, or their brain is brainwhashed..
 
Oh, and I hope there will be more characters on it. I don’t care if they are supporting characters or simple cameos. Watching it with the new desing would be cool!

Yeah, that’s good. Worst I heard was one reviewer saying he prefered the 3DS version, but still enjoyed the WiiU version.

Well, complaints about the game aren’t so out of whack given the E3 showing. As to the show, I’ve heard mostly good things, so I’ll definitely give it a shot.

It’s funny ‘cause Sonic fans are always quick to judge something before it’s even out. We still barely know anything about the show, yet people are going nuts.
 
It’s also kinda double-standards, I saw one person complain it didn’t look true to the source material, yet this person loves the original Sonic SatA.M. show, and it was nothing like the games (even at the time) either, yet it was still a good show.
 
I wasn’t bothered by big Knuckles, (aside from making him look a bit like Vector) but in a way it does suit him, and emphesize his strength more.
 
One thing I hope they do is give Big the cat background cameos, (like he had in some games) making him the show’s “Derpy.” ;)

Sonic fans, what are you expect. From the beginning, I found the blue arms weird, but hey! Is still Sonic. Like, if he will have a bionic eye or a cyborg leg or something. Yeah, I have some of those complains, people being dramatic for the most minimal thing. They want to see the most perfect thing of Sonic (Probably will never happen).
 
The ripped Knuckles was a big surprise for me. All of those years seeing Knuckles with a tiny body made hate the new one for the start, but I get used of it.

Actually, I’ve seen lots of other complaints about Sonic Boom, (some understandable, some petty, and some just plain weird) such as over the new character Sticks, and some fearing they were going to make Amy more competent then the dudes. (Sense she was the only one who landed gracefully in one game trailer.) Some were also upset over it not having any other game/comic characters shown in it. (Yet.) Also, when they said it was going to be an “action comedy,” (like every previous Sonic cartoon) some flipped out thinking that meant it was going to be AoStH 2, and be to silly.  
Not to mention some complained about Sonic’s arms being blue… (I am not kidding. It’s the “green eyes” crap all over again.)
 
Also, EG had more then just “high school” drama, it had the same personalities for all the characters overall, still had some of the “fantasy” aspects of the ponyverse, and it still had some funny/amusing things about it. So it wasn’t all bad.
 
Also, don’t forget the “Spike Justice Warriors” getting upset that he’s a dog.

Not everyone made drama about “Sonic Boom”. I am actually hyped that finally there is a new Sonic cartoon. The only complains about the show was the long legs of Sonic and the hulked Knuckles.
 
The fatal error of EG and massive shitstorm was because it was the first MLP G4 movie that Hasbro made. It could be a decent pony movie or something, ad it turned into a humanized, “Highschool Drama” movie. Also Brad.

I would be inclined to agree but…you could say that about nearly ANY fandom in the history of ever…

I would beg to differ about that, seeing how the show is as of recently very aware of her new status and her status taking precedence over pretty much anything else. I’m painfully aware too that the whole princess shtick needs to go somewhere in order to make sense, it’s one common complaint I mentioned at times too, but there’s also that other thing which is remembering Twilight mostly from the finale, as well as maybe Discord too.
 
I just stand of the belief that a good writer is capable of making good use of all characters in a story, not just some of them and I won’t call blatant favoritism of Twilight, because she is the main character, but that doesn’t mean some characters went greatly underutilized. Princess Celestia barely had anything even remotely credible or constructive to offer to the overall plot than to unlay the obvious trade, which turns into a friendship lesson, which turns into the last key, which turns into the friendship cannon 2.0 and her role was supposedly one of the biggest in the entire finale.
 
I’d say there’s a great deal of difference between some of the discussions here and some of the discussions in the Sonic fandoms, but I have no idea what the fuck is going on there as this show’s fandom is more than enough for me.  
I guess what I’m trying to say here is, trying to listen to people can make for more interesting and engaging discussions than listening to a majority talking to another majority, much like in this case right here. I Couldn’t Care Less what someone thought of the Sonic fandom, I could care if it was presented in a way that made sense and was a little more thought out, as opposed to biased and generalized to a popular consensus of the thing, because that’s what I get from most people criticizing that fandom and it’s to a point where I don’t care what either one has to say anymore…

Well, he kinda has a point on that to, considering Twilight getting wings barely effected Season 4 aside from the premiere, and finale. Her new “princess” status hasn’t really changed her personality, and hasn’t been regarded in the show much either.  
I think he was just saying alot of fans like to use things like wings, and green eyes as an excuse to hate on any of the new MLP/Sonic stuff.
 
While it’s understandable not all those changes are everybody’s cup of tea, people in both fandoms overreacted to said changes way to much.  
Though oddly the “green eyes” drama didn’t become trendy until before “Sonic 4:Ep.1” was released, nearly 10 years AFTER Sonic first got green eyes. Which is what makes it more baffling.
