Welllllllllll… I guess you could call it trolling, if you so see fit to do so.
For me, personally, it’s not so much about getting a negative reaction, or annoying people, or being mean. More than anything I enjoy savoring the responses from people and seeing how people will respond to the comments I make.
Case-in-point, Miss BP#885B. All I did was take her fallacious method of reasoning and apply it to race rather than gender. She did not disappoint in her responses. She basically used every method found in Darrel Huff’s How to Lie with Statistics and then, from what I can gather, called it quits when she ran out of steam.
By the way, the 1 in 3 is a false statistic taken from Ms. Magazine in 1985. The author, Mary Koss, admitted she got the statistic from merely asking around a university.
