I like to think of this as when she was younger.

“…My princess I’m afraid I have dreadful news to report,I~~”  
“Oh you have what,did the fat thorax nag laying on the throne finally kick the bucket or dose she need help remembering where her wings went?”  
“My princess the queen,she is…she has passed in the last hour.”  
“Great! Now my harlot of a sister can take the throne and make all the males love her like she always said. I get it alright my mothers dead! I don’t see why you have to inform me.My sister would have probably made sure she rubbed in my~~”  
“ Your sister is gone my princess!…”  
“!…What?”  
“She has taken flight and fled the hive in haste,apparently forfeiting the throne.A letter found in her room confirms her abdication of the line of descent….”  
“…but how could she…no..that would mean…that…would~~”  
“Yes your highness,you are now queen by blood”  
“…But I…surely one of the others can take the Throne I’m not ready for this!This is all so fast! I’m not prepared to lead~~”  
“My queen after your sister you are the oldest of the queens royal brood and the crown goes to you by changeling law and nature”  
“Can’t you find her, she can’t be far!She’s the the one mother groomed for queendom not me!”  
“We have searched high and low…my queen but we haven’t found any trace of her.The note she left said she has renounced her crown and gone to live with the ponies.”  
“That vain stupid traitor! Leaving me with her her duties so she can play with the ponies.Dumb bug!….I-I…so I guess i’m Queen now?”  
“Yes your highness,that is so”.  
“…hehe heh I guessing better clean up my room”.
