@Villain Pony
I think you missed the point.

aren’t blood born or breed

have little money or entitlement to fall back on

I don’t mean doing pre-arranged heroic acts

Twilight is heroic, there’s no debating that, but true heroes and leaders would never apologize for saving people in a different way then asked by someone else. Rainbow Dash and Trixie think for themselves.
CronoM

So let me get this straight…

>Only some packs of Diamond Dogs are so vicious that they are kidnapping thieves and raiders.
>While only some packs of Diamonds dogs became thieves and raiders, they are still a rough species like some versions of trolls, goblins and ogres.

>One of the first things Trixie does when she is made queen is order ALL violant acts or dotted-line press gangs to be forbidden. She would not hear of it.

>The buffalo’s steal AJ’s tree and make a fool of Rainbow Dash, deciding to track them down
>She initially hates the buffalo’s, but when she hears the story, she tries to find a peaceful solution in the name of the buffalo’s.

>Despite the fact ponies are disresptected in general by them, stubborn Chief Thunderhoof is so influenced by RD he looks at her pleading and conflicted saying “What would you have me do, Rainbow Dash?”

There is a supreme irony in here somewhere. How is it that Rainbow Dash and Trixie…

…two unentitled, stubborn, morally grey but evolving characters…

…have a better track record for spreading order and kindness on a national scale then any of the Princesses besides maybe Celestia over the years?

And I don’t mean simply maintaining peace or doing pre-arranged heroic acts, I mean seeing a large group or society and setting out to make things better. Trixie has a long way to go compared to Rainbow Dash, but the potential is already there. 0.0

Y’know, its almost as if the true leaders of tomorrow aren’t blood born or breed, its the people who have made a lot of mistakes, have little money or entitlement to fall back on, yet constantly improve themselves to rise to the occasion.

@Mr. Horrible
And yet prose writers manage to do without nearly all of it, even lacking the benefit of showing facial expressions.

Also, half the time the “flow of the sentence” formed by the random emphasis makes no sense.

@RIG
Reminds me of the time everyone seemed to think that all Griffons are jerks and were/are at war with the ponies just because of Gilda.

What is it with the comics and bolding words at random? It’s distracting…
