>dermal melanin concentration
Are you being colorist?
(Not racist, though most racists are colorist)
I’m pretty sure relative dermal melanin concentration is a better predictor.
Technically, Twilight was sent by the government at that point, and Rarity (and the rest of the Mane 6) was with her.
@SFaccountant
Unless Rarity is actively chasing away other seamstresses, I’d hardly call being the only fashion boutique in a small town where nobody wears clothes on a regular basis a monopoly.
Granted, I’m nuttier than a Mr. Peanut and would bean you no matter what you said.
It’s one of those hilarious postscripts of history that she died on welfare because she sucked so bad at capitalism that she couldn’t afford medical treatments.

SON I AM DISSAPOINTED
Of course we’re for free markets. Even if we’re wrong about how to get there (and I don’t think we are), you don’t get to tell us what we do and don’t stand and strive for.
Of course, SOME regulation and central oversight is vital to a free and healthy marketplace. Libertarians simply think that there’s far too much, to the point that the government is more of a danger to free enterprise than a protector.
Currently, the wealthiest corporations already bribe the shit out of people from both the Donkey party and the Elephant party.
Sounds like a real good reason to stop voting for a party that lets its corporate backers write their legislation for them.
You’re overlooking something very important to know. Currently, the government imposes very expensive license fees and regulations. The only entities that can afford these fees and regulations are the big corporations, effectively making it next to impossible for small businesses to compete with big corporations.
Without some form of government regulation, corporations will take control. Because companies and governments are the two most powerful entities in the world, if you take away power from one, the other will immediately use it for themselves. And I’d rather take my chances with the group whose job description is “we do what the people want” rather than “we make money”. The idea that people will play nice once government regulations are torn down is frighteningly naive.
“You’ll grow out of it when your voice changes, dear– almost everypony else does.”
Of course we are for free markets. What we’re AGAINST is government control, corporatism, etc.
Libertarians aren’t really interested in free markets, dude.
