Alot of crazy fans have made it hard to tell when people are kidding, or being sarcastic. Some even take me facetious remarks seriously to.

That’s one of the problems with “Poe’s law.” Some people think you’re serious if you don’t make it to obvious you’re joking.
 
Especially, ‘cause there really are fans that insane. (Enter the “Spike Justice Warrior” tag in the search bar, and see one example of this. There’s a guy, or group of people pestering Meghan McCarthy to change any scenes depicting “Spikeabuse.” Like when Applejack lightly tapped Spike on the back of the head when he was being tactless in the S4 finale. Seriously… That actually angered some…)

And the “Save Tree” campaign Knighty started over on Fimfiction turned out to be a joke, but some people were taking it completely seriously, to the point where Knighty had to publicly say that it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously.

Solrac went “NOMNOMNOM” to several of the cast members and ponies.

As dearly as I loved the Golden Oaks Library, its destruction really isn’t “drastic”. The only drastic change we’ve had so far has been Twilight’s ascension, and even that has been downplayed to an extent.

Do something drastic, people will complain about change. Do nothing, people will complain the show’s static. There is no satisfying everyone all the time. Just keep on keepin’ on.

Surprisingly, while I’m sure it was just meant to be humorous, (in said video) there actually are some fans quite butthurt about that. (I saw one guy remark “Golden Oaks Library was destroyed for profits.”)
 
I actually liked that part, ‘cause it was genuinely kinda saddening, and gave the episode some loss for the heroes. (Let’s face it’s probably the closest we’ll ever get to an actual “good guy character death” in the show.) Sure Twilight’s new pad is pretty impressive, but I’m sure she’ll still miss her old library, and all the memories she had there. (In a way, previous ep’ “Trade Ya” kinda makes this moment even sadder, as somebody pointed out.)  
It also gave Twilight the extra push/anger to take on Tirek head-on in a admittedly epic, and over-the-top magic battle.

Dont worry it was just a joke from Bronies React to S4Finale where one of the analyst bit off the head of a McCarthy cut-out after Twilight Library was destroyed

Nah, I’m pretty sure she’s amused. I haven’t seen it yet, but I believe it’s from the latest “Bronies React” videos. My wife and I really enjoy them.
