Again, more of guidelines than actual rules because nothing’s keeping you from “breaking” them.
There are rules to making a good OC. These are both tripe: they don’t fit into the world of Equestria. Were they in Equestria, they’d stand out as Special Snowflakes.

I didn’t know there were rules to OC design. They’d be more guidelines than actual rules since there’s no real punishment for breaking them.
You couldn’t type all that out here you had to go and essentially write an essay? Kinda makes me wonder if you’re for real.
Both of these OCs break an absurd number of rules for OC design, the second is based on an unfounded premise, and neither even seem well-designed “offspring” of their supposed parents. The daughter of Celestia in particular looks more like a daughter of Luna. They are both horrendous.
And they don’t look particularly good side-by-side.
Well one is Spike and Rarity’s son and the other is Celestia and a Crystal Guard’s daughter.
