I’m going through this in reverse chronological order, so this refers to this comic forwards (rather than backwards), but I do like how you characterize the ponies.  
It’s not 100% show accurate, but at times it actually feels ‘wrong’ in a good way; Sometimes the official writers don’t hit the ‘ideal’ of the characters.  
There’s a certain book-horse blog I’m thinking of in particular, where Twilight’s nerdier than in the average episode, but it still helps me appreciate her adorkable moments in the show.  
Most importantly, it feels like it gives me a new appreciation for the characters :P
 
Except Lyra and ‘Colgate’; I love the potential for both of them, and while you seemed to have a good ‘tone’ for them, their actual interests and priorities weren’t all that interesting to me.  
Minuette as Colgate the dentist and Lyra as a human-fanatic are their least interesting aspects, I feel - they could be interesting quirks, but not as a big part of their character.
 
But other than those two, who admittedly it feels like few writers do anything too interesting with, I’m getting a growing respect for ya as a writer as I go back through this stuff.
