I say, I have nothing against lesbian shipping, but I find the idea of shipping ALWAYS character in a concept of “Friendship is magic” is pretty stupid.
 
The fandom could examine more the friendship between the character, imho, that make shipping chart :P
 
But,the Octavia/Vynil is fine. In all the fanfic and fanart, I like their relationship. Yes, It’s could work better as a “normal” friendship relationship, but It’s not annoying me like a Rarijack or a PinkieDash.

Strangely, I like it more that the shipping Lyra/BonBon and all lesbian shipping.
 
I think that it’s very funny and cute.
