Well, I don’t really expect the Trixie/Rainbow Dash one to have a higher degree of ‘friendship’.
Discord made all of the animals talk because he wanted to do something nice for Fluttershy and he thought she would love it. The highlight of the comic (other than Angel talking)is the interaction between Discord and Zecora, which is apparently almost an exact copy of the interaction of Q and some other character in Star Trek. I wouldn’t know, I’ve never seen it.
