I’ll give you the former, but people still haven’t become as lenient about the latter. Hence the phrase “man up” still being in use. There are bigger issues to deal with, I’ll admit, but that one would make a nice side project. And hey, dudes less focused on showing strength and proving they’re the biggest and toughest and in charge and all that bullshit and are able to accept their own weaknesses and those of others might make the other stuff go smoother.
