@Background Pony #1186
>Implying that anyone couldn’t see that
I sensed the sarcasm and laughed. Well said.
I’m pretty sure the “manner” became malicious when people started demanding the death of anyone who didn’t like it. Then again, that’s pretty typical of the War on Justice, so it was probably malicious from the beginning. Assuming they didn’t just co-opt an honestly non-malicious joke to perpetuate their hatred, which is more likely.
On the internet, every joke is funny. It is just when it is use in a malicious manner where it is offensive. Here, it is not.
They’re raping her and then they’re going to rape me!
It’d be pretty hard to get me to say no to them.
This arouses my intellectual curiosity, and we must therefore proceed. For Great Science!

I’ll vouch that the satire here was pretty obvious.
Being raped irl is terrible, but being raped on the internet is fun!
Nah, it was actually pretty funny.
Either way, my real argument was basically the opposite of what I said. I don’t actually find rape funny (not that I’m going to be butthurt at those who do), but the whole “clearly bronies are sexist rape-apologist filth, and so are you if you’re one of them” thing is dumb, and I was arguing that position to its logical conclusion to show how absurd it was.
I’m actually fairly confident that the vast majority of bronies are firmly in the “anti-hurting other people in any way” camp, putting actual sexists (or other sorts of bigots) in a very small minority. This is pretty much the most inclusive fanbase on the internet, so the “someone in the fandom was bad, therefore all of it is” mentality is really stupid.
Yeah. I’m done now.
A joke that fell flatter than a sheet of tissue paper. See my previous post.
… Shit. :l
:l itwasajokebutokay
You sound like every anti-brony and every wanna be brony that think they should sit on an ivory thrown away from the common filth you call us. In fact, you kind of remind me of someone:
Except she was an attention whore trying to violate gaming, You’re just trying to be an attention whore.
Please let the door crush you on the way out.
Surely this image is an accurate representation of the moral and social climate of the fanbase at large, and it is safe for me to make an educated generalization as to bronies’ view on rape as a unified whole.
The only solution - nay, the only CHOICE we have - is to simply abandon the fandom rather than make any hackneyed attempt to just enjoy the show and not condone rape ourselves, lest we be associated with rapists and their supporters and be forced to issue a “not all bronies” disclaimer to those who the fandom hurts.
It is for this reason that I renounce my involvement with MLP. I’m off to go watch the Super Mario Bros. Super Show now, and relive my childhood memories with Captain Lou Albano and Danny Wells, with naught a rape apologist in sight. Because once again, it is impossible to just be a good person and watch the show because as has already been established, all bronies without exception condone rape and this image is indisputable proof of that fact.
Salaam! (Goodbye, see ya!) Ex-M! L! P! Heeeee~! Hee hee hee hee hee!
Cry some more, Pinkiepony.
