I would think that is due to them not understanding their partner well enough, rather than the fact that they met them at work. I have met people that have gotten married after meeting up at work, so it isn’t uncommon.
There are apps and meet-ups but yeah I saw my uncle do that and my brother to and they ended in nasty breakups it was bad for both plus it’s just weird nmo
