(This was posted before without my permission. So I figured if my stuff is going to be posted here anyway, I might as well be the one to post it.)
My headcanon is that Applejack and Pinkie Pie are endomorphs. Applejack exercises and works constantly, but can never seem to lose weight. Shes healthy, she just cannot seem to lose weight. Because of the fatphobia she has faced, she struggles often with her body image.
Pinkie Pie is energetic and hyper and perfectly healthy, but she has found that she cannot lose weight either. But Pinkie never let fatphobics get her down. She loves her body and tries her best to teach AJ to love herself too.
Whenever AJ feels down about her weight, Pinkie is there to cheer her up. Pinkie is panromantic demisexual, and Applejack is romantic lesbian. They eventually developed a romantic bond, and they havent come out about their relationship yet because they are still testing the waters and seeing how things work out. They are learning to love each other, but most importantly, themselves.

It came from somebody being all fat phobic on one or diverse-mlp-expressions posts, so I made this just to spite then and ended up fucking loving the headcanon
Also, you can be “fat” and healthy.
I have a cousin who is built large, but she is healthy as we believe most of the weight is actually muscle! And even if it was fat, she exercises a lot and should still not be shamed for her weight because she does try. But I think she could be an endomorph herself.
You can be big and healthy, and applejack is in my headcanon. As for pinkie, she tries to lose weight as she does have fat, but just has a lot of trouble with it.
You shouldn’t judge people for being big, especially people you don’t know. Because maybe they are trying. Maybe they are muscle and don’t know it. Maybe they are just big built. You don’t know. But even if it is fat and they aren’t exercising enough, you don’t know their life and either way, you shouldn’t shame them. You should encourage then. So there’s no excuse for fat phobia
Oh, I definitely saw that, yeah. . I lived and I learned, and I’m glad we’re all friends in the end (insert FiM credits here). There are some things I still don’t understand, but my main goal at the end of the day is to be nice to people, and I’m glad that shown through in the end.
I still have questions, and I’ll be brutally honest and admit some aspects of what I’m seeing of Tumblr’s socially progressive scene are, well, stupid, but whatever makes you comfortable. I’m probably gonna filter out the diverse-mlp-headcanons tag simply because I’m tired of the drama it’s creating, but I’m probably gonna lurk around the site from here on just out of curiosity.
I’m certainly OK with talking this stuff over through Derpibooru’s messaging system - I’d enjoy that, even - but I’m not making a Tumblr account… as I said, many of the less reasonable Tumblr progressives do very bad things to my mental health and faith in humanity. But if we DO continue this conversation, let’s do it in messages or some such, huh? Comment sections are for everyone, not for two people having a long-winded discussion, and oh god this comment is already too long shut up me
HOLY FUCK THEN HI
I made a post about that since I couldn’t respond to you privately. I didn’t say specifics or what was being apologized for but I wanted to respond to you. Did you see that post?
It basically said that I forgive you and am super glad to have helped you understand :)
Oh, since I now know you’re the Katey from Diverse Headcanons, I feel compelled to tell you I’m the apologetic anon you dealt with the other day. Hi.
Thank you. It’s hard, I know, and it’s perfectly fine to want little involvement in politics when getting involved could harm your mental health. It’s not that you aren’t tough, you just feel as though it may harm your mental health. And self care is very important
Well… I can respect the will to fight. Me, I can barely get through my damn day, let alone stand up for anything… I’m a bundle of nerves, and you’re tougher than I am, whatever the hell you identify as.
Keep on keeping on.
I get that, and trust me, it gets tiring to have to protest all the time. But the problem isn’t with us…
It’s with the people we constantly have to protest against. If they would listen to us and actually try to fix society, then we wouldn’t have as much to protest about. The problem is that there are so many bad people that we have to protest,so many stereotypes, so much prejudice. We have to fight, or sit on the sidelines and watch. Neutrality in many social justice issues only ends up helping the oppressor.
So I get what you mean about it being tiring seeing fighting all the time, because it gets tiring having to fight all the time.
I’m an atheist agender asexual. I have a SHIT TON of stuff to protest against, you know? And progress is slow, but if we can just last longer than the other side, if we can just make it until the other side finally gives in, then things might can be better. So it’s tiring, but people like me cannot be the first ones to tire out completely.
I suppose so… I understand where you’re coming from, it’s just that politics in general tends to grate the nerves, you know? Even if you agree with the idea, seeing the same picket signs over and over wears on the nerves… I guess my problem is that I’m sick of the drama. I get your point, and I support your point, really, I’m just sort of tired of watching people fight over your point… I’m aware that’s my problem, not yours.
Yea well I’ve seen heterosexuality and cis thrown around so much in the media and society that I’m sick of IT. We can label ourselves as we please, and we shouldn’t have to care if other people get “sick of it” because there needs to be more awareness for us, especially outside of tumblr.
This is different from helping them. You don’t want to push them down, you want to lift them up! Don’t shame, don’t force them, but try to kindly help them do what they can.
In this specific picture of mine, AJ and Pinkie are endomorphs. They are fat. But they are perfectly healthy. These kinds of people exist. The problem is, fatphobia is rampant against them too.
You just can’t judge someone’s situation, and unless you know them, don’t fucking try to tell them if they are healthy or not. They could be disabled or disordered in some way that prevents them from losing weight or exercising much. They could be endomorphs.
We need to encourage body love, not body shame. We need to stomp out fatphobia. It is only making people feel like shit. We need to encourage those that can lose weight, not push them down. Encourage them to love their body and take good care of it because they love it. Don’t encourage them to hate their body by fat-shaming them. That leads to a lot of eating disorders and other mental and emotional problems.
We need to learn not to judge people. If you see a picture of a fat person you don’t know online, then shut up. You don’t know them or their life or their problems. We shouldn’t encourage obesity in those that can help it, but we shouldn’t shame them. We should encourage them, try to make them feel happy to lose weight, happy to get healthy. Fatphobia encourages body hate. Body love is vital to losing weight, though. If you love your body, you are more likely to want to take care of it. So instead of fat-shaming, we need to encourage them to care for their bodies as best they can.
Hmm… Fair enough, maybe I was wrong. I’m seeing a lot of studies like this… but, then again, this sort of thing tends to go back and forth… Oh well. (sigh)
I’d reccomend reading this then

It’s POSSIBLE to be fat and healthy, man, sumo wrestlers do it. The key is recognizing there’s a difference between “fat” and “doesn’t exercise and eats McDonalds’ every meal”.
None of us can truly escape labels, we are a society of labels after all. I’m talking about labels and buzzwords that you usually hear coming from Tumblr.
True, true. It’s just that certain people on Tumblr just go completely overboard with ‘em… I actually find this a pretty cute concept, it’s just that we’ve heard words like transsexual and demisexual and panromantic and such thrown around so goddamned much that we’re getting sick of ’em.
Have you seen some of the stuff some of these guys say on a daily basis? I’ll even give you an example, there’s are blogs on tumblr which flat out DENY scientific evidence that being overweight is unhealthy, and even considers doctors warning patients about this as “fat shaming” or “fatphobia” And that’s the kind of thinking that’s going to end up killing them. And I can guarantee you that this isn’t the only blog out there like this.
high fives
Labels aren’t bad things, people. I like labels like asexual, demisexual, romantic, etc. Some labels are good. They help us identity ourselves and take pride in the things we are.
SJW is a buzzword/label. So in describing Tumblr you described yourself.
What’s wrong with wanting social justice eh?
That doesn’t mean that they are bad. Tumblr is a very open place normally and there needs to be more diverse art and headcanons like this.
Buzzwords and labels, a common indicator that this is from tumblr, the land of SJWs
Long story short, we’ve had a lot of headcanons like this coming in from Tumblr lately.
What’s wrong with that description?
