Hahah. No worries. I accepted it a long time ago. After all, one of my little sisters likes to bake and is good at it, so of course I’d defer to her when it comes to making cakes and so on.
Still don’t like it, though =(
And word from experience: Do try to accept it. We younger siblings always look up to the older ones. So if we seem to try to one-up you, then that’s just because we’re trying to validate ourselves to someone we always feel is above us :p
Well, if it’s any consolation, you may have witnessed your younger siblings doing the self-proclaimed “Marshmallow dance” on the table with a diaper on their head, but at some point in the past, not just you as well, but at some point EVERYONE was like that. From your commanding officer, to your manager, to General Patton, to the President. How’s that for food for thought? XP
This is true. As an older brother, I absolutely detest being corrected by my younger siblings.
Sadly, I must often swallow my pride because I acknowledge they actually are more qualified to speak on some things than I am.
Oh, the humiliation!
Then again, it’s somewhat understandable. It’s probably kind of hard to accept correction from someone whose diapers you’ve changed XP
