The number of Transformers continuities that have no Elita-1 and the fact that Good King Sombra got turned evil, this ship still has a chance. Especially since a lot of the Optilestia stuff uses Transformers: Prime version of Optimus, one of the one with no corresponding Elita-One.

Also, he doesn’t have a girl friend in any other Transformers generation, and Elita 1 was in 1 episode (maybe that explains the name).

Well that’s part of it, the comics in many cases just don’t match up in terms of timeline or fact with the show. So I can’t ever really treat it as canon to the show, I just regard it as an alternate continuity unto itself.

Well, yes and no, because some things have the same canon as the show, but others minor things(like the fact that daring do herself who writes her books, which bring a lot of questions,not twilight mom, or that they use the elements of harmony in this issue,

Has anyone really actually read the comics? they are pretty good and this was something pretty interesting to read about. What is the big deal with having drama over this? We can’t just control everything so it works out how we want it. If you don’t like it just deal. Personally I like the idea of the star crossed lovers.
