Sorry for being snappy. But you are literally like the tenth person to ask if Changelings are involved in the new episode just today. Plus there was a whole conversation about it in the comments below.
I know it was a silly assumption. It’s just that the green eyes and horn gave me that idea.

And the answer is no for the next 16,000 people who ask if the changelings are coming back as well.
I mean, I get it, they were a popular concept. But that doesn’t mean every time something green shows up in the series that the changelings are making their “glorious” second coming.

Several of the synopsises for the episode list this similarly

So, it’s safe to say that it’s not a changeling, as it would make zero sense. It’s Rarity under a spell that goes out of control.
