Maybe this could work in the show as a silly but amusing gag.
As for the girls bike. While it was true that back in the day the step through design was a female thing. It’s out of date considering that most women don’t wear skirts all the time. Such bikes could be useful when load carrying as it would be impossible to mount a traditional model but our society won’t allow it for silly reasons.
This headcanon world sounds better than what we’ve seen so far… Mostly because they’ve not shown us Sunset yet., but that’s probably not even marginally a problem with Rainbow Rocks, because it’s perfectly fine so far. XD
Another wording: What would suck is if this world was left unexplored before it ended, if it is going to be discontinued before the mane line of toys. Obviously, the fucktons of dosh both series’ are absorbing should prevent this for at least five years, which isn’t based on what Hasbro Inc. said, but based on my understanding of our own demographic of television audiences. :j
(And if EG isn’t satisfying investors, I’ll break my own legs, because there’s no Jesus fucking way the movie didn’t persuade all of it’s target audience to buy those things. FB seems to imply young girls like them fine, if y’all can believe that. ;3 )

In this case, the content can be explained away easily enough as I showed before, but regardless I can’t help but feel that’s splitting hairs pretty needlessly. It’s not meant to be taken terribly seriously, it’s just a funny gag with a touching trace of sentimentality mixed in. Overall, an A+ comic in my book.
I personally enjoy the artwork for the content, rather then the feasibility or implications. I just saw the issue in the comments and decided it could use a bit of addressing.
@Bronitarian
She’s just chewing on it for the taste you see, not swallowing.
More pertinent I think is how interesting this image is for its overall implications, not to mention the fine artwork. This is perfectly compatible with what we know about Sunset so for, which makes it that much more interesting.
Okay why does NO ONE think outside the box here and arrives at one stupid conclusion after the next?
She lived MOST OF HER LIFE as a mare, she left Equestria and came to the human world…
Now REALLY THINK about this… so maybe some of her “favorite foods” as a pony could exist in that world and thus she wants to eat it because it was her favorite snack in Equestria?
Sure she might regret it later and then again, she might not, what do we know about the effects and attributes that pass on/don’t pass on when a mare comes from equestria to the human world.
Point is, it could be her favorite snack so even IF it makes her sick, she’s enjoying the taste right now.
See, this is why I wanted Sunset to have a more complex personality. For extremely cute scenario’s like this.
But then Sunset was made so one-note generic evil and suddenly she’s ultra repentant for the first time in her life after getting hit with the harmony blaster.
If they hadn’t rushed the script, they could of shown some scenes with her alone where she talks ‘about her hate/love for her teacher and how she’ll show her how strong she’s gotten once her plans are complete’
@Prof.NightJack
Actually, women’s bikes have no center bar to make it easier for someone wearing a dress to mount and dismount. The design dates back to the turn of the last century, when no decent woman would be seen wearing pants.
@Fenrixer
It’s mostly in how thick the frame is and the position of the bars in the center, but even make of men’s and women’s bikes have some design changes.
