I honestly don’t get why people are mad about Bad Box Art Mega Man. Instead of doing the same thing with Mega Man they’ve done in other fighting games, they did something new with the character, something with a sense of humor. I think it’s absolutely brilliant.

I presume I don’t care because I’m not a Mega Man fanboy, but I do understand Mega Man has been shafted roughly 5 or 6 times in the past five years. (My math is always off, so… XD )

But bad box art Mega Man wouldn’t be a thing beyond just being boxart if not for Street Fighter X Tekken, that’s what I mean by being one of Capcom’s middle fingers to the fans

I doubt the original bad box art Mega Man was intentionally bad. That was what the ‘80s was like in America. (If that art appeared on the European box, I’ll reword that statement. :j )

That’s what I mean by “any other thing based off a verson of a Megaman”, there are far more as well.
But it;s best to stick with the five that stared in there own series, and you can’t add the one from ZX as it’s not one standard main protagonist for the whole series, in ZX there was both Vent and Aile and with ZX Advent there was Ashe and Grey.

If we’re even going to count the Pantheons, then don’t forget Copy X and the Four Guardians (who are apparently all created from…different parts of X’s soul, according to the audio drama).
