I like that they weren’t redeemed, I have a thing for slimy but charming characters.
 
I think Flim and Flam might be my favorite villains. They’re harmless enough to be likable but mischievous enough to be actual villains. Kind of like Trixie, but pragmatic, focused primarily on money and using underhanded tactics and tricks.

Honestly I think Applejack is over reacting to Flim and Flam, Applejack lost but still kept her farm after the whole thing was done. If they forgive and forget then so can she.  
But this is also assuming that they did forgive and forget.
