That’s a given, but whether or not it’s apple/family related is still up in the air.
Well, not me. But sorta relevant is the fact that I wrote a fanfic about Flim and Flam a while back, and only a week after I finished it, this episode was announced.
Some kind of freaky cosmic coincidence? Or do I have the power to bring characters back by writing fanfics about them?

There is a good chance it could involve the Flim Flams, maybe where different characters sing different lines… who knows. As long as it’s not Bulk.
You know, it’s been hinted at more than once that a background character will get a song this season, and I don’t think it’s Bulk Biceps. I have the weirdest feeling that the fandom will lose its mind when it happens.

Derpy, Doctor, Vinyl, Octavia. Those are the blatantly obvious choices. We know it, McCarthy & Co. knows it. Being towards the end of the season, we’re about due for another face-melting cameo.
I like the show, and indeed think it worth my time more, when it subverts my expectations.
And if you consider these fellows, you will recall their last appearance was not marred by lies, but by shady business practices.
Just because something has been done, doesn’t make it less interesting, lighten up, and considering them, I think the product is actually just plain ol’ water…..
