I WANT TO GET OFF MR. ROVER’S WILD RIDE
(Next patch, out for iOS, soon for Android, introduces this minigame)

Next: Sombra, Discord, or Ahuizotl. :P
But then again, Hasbro would automatically call it taboo. :P
Well, she got her melted butter after all, I guess.
Yeah! I was shocked when i discovered it! If those trees were real, they’d be bear of leaves. XD
Holy shit, really?
I’d go and do that right now if my horse game didn’t start inexplicably crashing at the loading screen since last night.
I know right!
Luckily, if you tap trees, you may get a wheel or two!
Yeah, it is. It’s basically the mine-cart levels from Donkey Kong Country and Temple Run combined.
If it’s the wheel one I’ve observed that you only need to run the game each time the timer depletes and gives you a wheel to start the next timer, then I just let it idle in sleep mode before it gives a notification that the game’s given a minecart wheel an hour later, then just “check” the notification to run the game to restart the next one, and repeat.
Sure, it’s an hourly check for the best efficiency, but it’s not that bad. Of course, when you max out the wheels you can just play the game a few times to deplete them in case you’re going to collect from shops, which gives more wheels, as the cap is 5.
By the next update the bar filled up much faster, they added two more songs, and the notes were a lot less buggy, especially the double green notes. Previously the only way to fill the bar quick enough without spending gems was to change the date/time on the device (but not too far forward past the deadline), which may have been tedious but effective. Post-update, playing the five songs in one go would fill the bar by 1/3.
But this minecart game probably won’t need as much fixing as the Equestria Girls game did; so far I’ve little complaints with the system. So far.
Oh, they changed the requirements on the EG minigame? I tried it when it was released, and the progress bar (for earning ponies) moved a very small amount, every time I played - I figured I’d need to play for several hours straight, to earn them.
Depends on your perception of “ridiculous”. Personally, I don’t think so, but I’m probably as patient and tolerant as they go. It wasn’t as bad as the Equestria Girls game on its debut, I’ll tell you that much. They at least give you plenty of chances to play that you don’t even need gems as much to accumulate points quickly.
It hasn’t been that long with casual playing here and there and hardly any gem spending and I already have two of the three. Gem spending is mostly for the people going for high scores, or at least, that’s how I’ve used any I’ve spent.
Let me guess: You have to play for a ridiculously long time in order to earn those characters, right?
I can see Pinkie having a blast in the mine cart.
But…RARITY?? I mean, /aside/ from collecting gems, WHY would she even get in something like that and agree to go for a ride to begin with?
Gameloft has managed to remove idling from an idle game.
Hope they will add either Coco, Cheese or Maud to the Game (all would be the best of course)
Also (judging by chainchomp2’s Screenshot) THEY SHOULD STOP ADDING PONIES TO CANTERLOT (or move some Ponies where they rightfully belong) I still haven’t gotten all the Ponies and the remaining ones would be unemployed (as recently Cadence) when I got them
I like how Spike is even hanging off the back, like Diddy Kong. Hard to believe that game is nearly 20 years old now.
@Masem
They are indeed (excuse the AssistiveTouch thing which usually disappears for the screencap):
Better known on here as planetary bob and the other one being Jeff Letrotski in a costume.
