Yahtzee asked his fans to help him get to the con, he told them the moeny would go to that, being honest about it isn’t the same as what is going on with dark skyes so it’s not weird at all.

That’s really not the same thing at all. He asked for money for a ticket, and then he got it.
 
This is fraud. Fraud is the acquisition of goods or services under false pretences.
 
There’s a hell of a difference between someone who tells the truth to get money and someone who lies to get it.

Yahtzee said that? Pretty weird quote from him when he charged his fans to get him a first fucking class plane ticket so he’d go to a con.

The scheme seems to be to walk into a bank with a gun and a ski mask on, put a bucket on the floor and say “I’m going now, but if anyone wants to put some money in there, then you know, the option’s open.” And if anyone does put money in the bucket, then that person probably shouldn’t have had financial independance in the first place.”

Most of the major backers now are brand new accounts with MLP avatars that haven’t backed anything but this project.
 
Chances are that they’re creating fake accounts to make fake big donations to try and trick people into thinking that it’s legit, so that they’ll donate for real.

They’re probably self-funding at this point and hoping some idiots will join in, so they can remove the pledges.  
The butthurt on exposal was delicious.
