This is epic

G1 as a whole was pretty fucking dark at time. Besides Rescue at Midnight Castle, there was Bright Lights and Return of Tambelon. The only bad part of G1 were the characters. Aside from a few, they were all blank slates that were easily interchangeable.

And this was a girl’s show. I beg to differ.
