After realizing that her life was coming to an end in a radioactive apple explosion, Apple Bloom does something she never thought she’d do again and calls for her mother… Clearly showing how desperate the situations was.

Maybe she’s just having a flashback to the day her mother was crushed by a giant apple. She saw the whole thing; it was very traumatic.
