I ’m not usually into couples with so much in common. but I think this one could work. Especially since there are couples like that in real life.
Flash Sentry would probably go for kindness. His human counterpart warmed instantly to Twilight, forgave her faux pases like spilling that milkshke, found the evidence that exonerated Twilight of her accusations, dumped Sunset Shimmer when it was clear she was shifting into maximum overbitch, plays a mean guitar, drives an awesome car, has blue hair, and is a pretty nice guy overall.
If his pony counterpart is anything like him, he’d also probably go for kindness.

I ship most of them, but I switch Trend to be with AJ after gaining her acceptance through hard work. I just put Rarity with Spike once he turns 16.
The hardest of course is a Fluttershy counterpart…
(As for the “boyfriend club,” would you really want to date someone as much like yourself as, say, Pinkie and Cheese?)
Well, it didn’t work for me. I like Trenderhoof and don’t give a damn about Gilda.
Because Trenderhoof was designed to be unlikeable, like Gilda.

I never did care for Soarin/Rainbow until ‘Rainbow Falls’. Now I do like it.
And I really enjoy the idea of Trenderhoof/Applejack…But there hasn’t been a single fic yet and only a couple pieces of art of the couple. Why is that?
Im more of a Sparity, Fluttermac kind of guy and maybe AJ can give Trenderhoof a chance… Top Class Unicorn + Farmgirl Earth Pony does make an interesting shipping story

Trenderhoof: “Something like that. Soarin and I are on our way to meet our favorite mares, they live in Ponyville too.”
Cheese Sandwich: “Hey Flash! We’re all going to Ponyville! We can all go there together! Isn’t that great!?”
Trenderhoof: “They’re too busy arguing. I’m sure this is some stupid military thing.”
Both Pegasus ponies instantly stop shouting and slowly turn to face Trenderhoof.
Soarin: “Has living in the Crystal Empire made you soft Flash? Or can you still kick butt like the old days?”
Flash Sentry: “You bet your tights!”
Trenderhoof: “Uh-oh. I’ve really put my hoof in my mouth this time.”
