That’s sad, but it’s the same for the whole art business.
Only a few make a good living out of it.
And sometimes they aren’t even the best…
Sadly, it still falls into what I am spontaneously terming ‘the fanart ghetto’, where because its based on another work, people have to drastically cut their commission prices, because the target market is greedy and has no concept of time and talent value when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Yes. At this size and that amount of detail, this sculpture would fall under the “Gallery Sculptures” level in her pricing range for commissions, which starts at $500.
Given the amount of materials and the work hours spent on it, that is not an unreasonable price.
