Well, the canonical height of an average MLP pony is 3’5”, and Big Mac’s canon height is 5’, so it’d make sense for him to be significantly taller than average in human form too.
He actually did one with Celestia (7’8”) and Luna, who he actually made shorter than Mac (7’0”).
