Rob Denbleyker on why there will never be a Cyanide & Happiness comic poking fun at My Little Pony and bronies.
I cannot confirm Rob, Kris, Matt, and Dave’s stance towards My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic or bronies.

No, you want to get the internet (or at least the dangerous section of it) pissed, you say something along the lines of “I like anything written by C.S. Goto!”
It goes to show how much people care about opinions. Despite our HD electronics, sliced bread and hoverboards (we have those, right?), humans are still very much tribal creatures.
With that said, I LIKE EPISODE THREE OF STAR WARS COME AT ME INTERNET
You hate MLP? Get raided by angry bronies!
You like MLP? Get raided by angry other people!
I can understand where they’re coming from, just mentioning it will get half the internet against you. How you mention it just determines which half.
I suppose I did, old sport. I suppose I did.
(You set yourself up for this.)
That worked so well for Bioware when they posted the Pinkie Shepard image.
Look they obviously don’t want to cover the topic so as to not attract drama to themselves. I say they have that right. It’s not like they are obligated to make a comic about us.
Option C: They make a joke in favor of the show, which gets them bombarded by BOTH extremes
Well they could tell the vocal minority haters to F- off!
Option A: They make a shout out to the show, which gets them bombarded with complaints from haters.
Option B: They make a joke about the show, which gets them bombarded with complaints from rabid bronies.
I don’t blame them from avoiding anything to do with My Little Pony.
Wouldn’t be surprised, like most who know of us, if they despise us.
Oh man, in front of the wrong eyes that will start a jihad for sure!
“Really?”
“Yeah, it’s pretty cool.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
And then I change the subject before they ask questions. I always fear negative reaction, though.
Yes. Now go worship the mighty sunbutt or you will be sent to the moon.
What was the exact reaction?
People are more open about liking cartoons now than they have been in the past. It’s come up a few times in some conversations I’ve had, mentioned FiM in passing once or twice…
heh
I don’t think anyone would bring up any cartoons in a conversation anyway, unless it’s a famous animated movie.
