You know what I’ve always wondered? The reasoning why Scootaloo isn’t any of the Mane 6’s sisters. Sure you can use the excuse that Rainbow Dash isn’t a good older sister but why couldn’t she be Fluttershy’s sister?

I mean both of them can hardly fly and they have loosely related colors. It could’ve worked.

Not true, It’s just Orphans are made to suffer for not having families, and the weak are cast out from society. The Orphans actually have it easier if they survive beyond the age of twelve. How else do you think Rainbow Dash got her position in the weather management bureau? Going door-to-door selling cookies?
