Actually, Boots kind of looks like he’s high on something. Look at those eyes!
The EqG toy line has too much glam for my tastes. Reminiscent of Jem-truely-outrageous or Bratz. It is true, Funko, enterplay, and others make product more appealing to my tastes. When I peruse the pony section in the “pink aisle” of tar-mart wal-get it looks like “Malibu Stacy new hat.” With age comes cynicism, to put it simply: quack.
Well, if it doesn’t appeal to you than ok. Whatever floats your boat.
It appeals to the target demographic so I guess Hasbro reached that go and went further with the toy line.
If you want show accurate toys, I suggest those Funko Vinyl Collectables.
The EqG & potential EqG2 merch does not appeal to me. Personally wanting more show-accurate merch. Hopeful that if EqG2 happens, that it will be better than the first. Cynical that EqG exists at all.
Those dolls probably sold very well for all we know.
Don’t forget the Taret Demographic that actually likes MLP and Equestria Girls A.K.A. Little Girls.

It’s going to shame pop stuff that was in the first film. It’ll only get the barest qualification for “rock” by throwing in a 10 second guitar solo here or there, at the absolute maximum.
Still, no jimmies rustled here. In a weird way, I’m kind of looking forward to it. Wouldn’t say I’m terribly excited at the prospect, but nevertheless…
In the depressingly likely event they make an EG2, they’re probably not gonna be singing glam rock. Or really, any kind of rock.
I feel like I should buy the full set and make stop motion videos with them to Lita Ford songs.
Can I throw Duck to the zombies later?

Can I high-five Twilight while throwing Duck into the horde of zombies?
I would cut my hand off and eat before I high-fived Duck.
I am both fearful and hopeful.
Kudos to Hasbro for commissioning anthro versions of FiM that are largely unappealing to the brony community.
Faith I have in studio DHX (etc, etc) that they will make EqG2 awesome.
