the characters being related or not seems less important in “fan casting” than making sure the character archetypes match, expect in cases where being related is a major character point, like the twins being twins.
plus, mori has always been sort of big-brothery to haruhi, so its still not a huge stretch…although, in response to the idea of characters being related… now im wondering if braeburned is shota enough to pull off being honey-kun to big mac’s mori…
